I’m Tamea, the heart behind Dunn’s It Doula Services. I’m a mother of three and a grandmother to a beautiful, wonderfully complex autistic grandson who has taught me patience, presence, and the power of meeting people exactly where they are. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a nurse. Though that door didn’t open, the desire to help women never closed. I spent years advocating for survivors of domestic violence and later became a Certified Life Coach—work that deepened my belief that every person deserves safety, dignity, and a voice. Doula care is my “yes” to that belief. In birth rooms and living rooms, I support families through one of life’s most sacred transitions. My purpose is to be a steady, informed, and compassionate presence—helping you understand your options, speak your preferences, and feel truly supported. Whether in labor or the postpartum hours when the world turns quiet, I’m there to remind you: your voice matters, and you are not alone.
